Emily Rodeck - TrumpetEmily Rodeck, having been fascinated by her father’s trumpet since she first laid eyes on it, began playing at the age of eight. She was an involved member of the middle school and high school band programs in her home town of Grand Ledge, Michigan, where she was awarded the John Phillip Sousa Award during her senior year. Early on, she made the decision to study music education, and is honored and thrilled to be pursuing this field at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music. A member of the Wind Ensemble and the Marching Hundred, Emily studies with Edmund Cord.
