Hailing from Blacksburg, Virginia, Isaac Brinberg has a captivation for anything musical. Whether in the Concert Hall or classroom, he is interested in approaching musical study from a variety of academic and performance perspectives. Isaac's love for music originally started on the piano and since has grown into a passion for music education and performance on tuba and piano. He has interest in analysis of musical literature and a strong interest in Wind Band conducting. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Music Education with a Minor in Wind Conducting at the Jacobs School of Music and is studying with Daniel Perantoni. Isaac is currently a member of the Indiana University University Orchestra, the IU Marching Hundred and the Leaves of Brass Quintet and has been a member of the Indiana University Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Ensemble. He is also a member of NAFME and Vice-President of NBA-Indiana University Chapter. In addition to studying music, Isaac enjoys reading, viewing art exhibits and history museums, and playing golf.
